Matt Page
Evacuation Consultant
With a true passion for safety, Matt has industry experience working as a paramedic with Ambulance Victoria in Melbourne, and with The Wellington Free Ambulance. Matt also uses his personal time to volunteer with the Rural Fire Service and Urban Search and Rescue.
Ashley Mason
Evacuation Consultant
With a bright bubbly personality, Ashley is a pragmatic and practical addition to our team, with a rural kiwi upbringing and a natural interest in the H&S arena. She brings administration and recruitment skills and three years’ experience as a health and safety representative in her role as an evacuation consultant.
Ashley has a passion for making a difference to people’s lives, and we are delighted to have her in the Safety First team.
Sue McIntosh
Office Manager
Sue’s career experience includes working as a PA within many major corporates, and she is highly skilled in event management and coordination. Sue is the ‘first voice’ of Safety First, handling all inbound calls and emails to the business.
Dahl Dekkers
Administration & Training Co-ordinator
With Safety First since 2011, Dahl is responsible for scheduling ‘on request’ training sessions, providing administration support and coordinating invoicing for the Wellington office.
Heather Sargent
Trial Evacuation Co-ordinator
Heather arranges and schedules all Evacuation Consultant work in Auckland and the upper North Island. She has an understanding of our client’s specific requirements, good geographical knowledge and coordinates our team’s travel and jobs for optimum efficiency.
Sarah Griffiths
Evacuation Scheme Co-ordinator
Sarah assists our Evacuation Consultants with the implementation of new evacuation schemes, and the ongoing maintenance of existing schemes.
Jessica Veenswyk
Trial Evacuation & Training Co-ordinator
Jess is responsible for scheduling all work for the Evacuation Consultants. This requires exceptionally good geographical knowledge, insight into what each client’s specific requirements are, and an understanding of how our team can work most efficiently.
Gabrielle Jamieson
Administrator
With Safety First since 2011, Gabrielle provides behind the scenes administration, including invoicing and production of monthly advisory reports for clients. Providing support to all the Safety First consultants, Gabrielle is definitely one of our go-to people.
